A Little About Me

Hey! Here is a little about my journey through life, my creative process, and the intent of my work. 

I attended the Maine College of Art and earned a Bachelors degree in Fine Art, majoring in Oil Painting. I also studied color theory, ceramics, stone sculpture, and mixed media art. My Mom taught me to crochet when I was 11, she is left handed so it was a little challenging to pick up but once I got the basics down I was in love! I have been crocheting for myself and my family ever since and decided to start taking my hobby a little more seriously in 2021.

I began attending craft markets and posting my work on social media. My favorite part of this journey so far has been making so many new friends and becoming part of a community. I'm currently a stay at home mom so I find time where I can to create objects and share my process when I'm not chasing my toddler around. :) Creating things makes me so happy and I hope to share this love of art with my daughter as she grows, just like my Mom did for me. She is only 2 and already tries her best to crochet, paint, and color.

My goal with my blog and social media is to share the things I have created with the hope that it will brighten someones day. I have been selling my work and patterns online recently and every order means the world to me. It's so cool to know something I made is loved half way across the world and even cooler to see all of the things people create using my patterns!

 I try to keep my blog posts updated with the patterns and techniques I have been using so you don't have to do any detective work. :) If there is something I have made that I haven't posted the link to yet feel free to ask and I will help you any way I can! I am always very focused on creating and sometimes fall behind on updating my blog.
